Anedot is secure.

Anedot is SOC 2 and PCI Compliant and uses TLS encryption for all data.

Cardholder data is never exposed to our staff, your users, or anyone else. Payment details are immediately encrypted in the browser before being transmitted.

Our team continuously audits our code and infrastructure to prevent any possible breach. We also have an external security analyst that proactively audits the platform on a monthly basis as well. We also then have an independent firm that scans our systems and platform quarterly.

Anedot takes privacy and security very seriously and has taken all necessary steps to ensure that your payment details are safe.


PCI Compliance

The PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) is a global forum that brings together payments industry stakeholders to develop and drive adoption of data security standards and resources for safe payments worldwide. In short, they help develop the standards to ensure payments are completed securely.

You must take proper precautions to keep your organization PCI compliant.

Here are some basics to consider:

  1. Do not write down credit card numbers

    1. If you have written down a credit card number, properly destroy it as soon as you have processed it.

  2. Do not email credit card numbers

  3. Do not text credit card numbers

SOC 2 Compliance

Anedot is SOC 2 is SOC 2 compliant and has an active Type 1 Report. You may request to view our report by contacting our team here if needed.
