What to expect during the organization account verification process

After you have signed up for an account, your account will be in pending status.

Account verification is for your security. We go to great lengths to protect cardholders as well as causes and organizations against the rising threat of identity theft and fraud. 

Verification times vary on a per-account basis. Most accounts can be verified within 24 - 48 hours after application if created during normal business hours (Mon-Fri 8am-6pm Central).
Note: Federal and State PACs, 501(c)3s, and 501(c)4s will undergo additional underwriting.

Accounts created during non-business hours will begin the verification process the next business day.

The following steps will occur:

1) The Anedot Accounts Team will send you a text message asking you to make a required verification call to our team during Anedot's normal business hours to confirm the account information.

2) Once account information has been confirmed, they will request that you add a 2nd user to the account. That 2nd user will need to accept the emailed user invitation and setup an Anedot User Profile to be added to the account.

3) You will receive notice if your account has been approved or denied. This process can happen in only a few hours or could take a few days. Typically the process is fairly quick if our team has all the legal information they need from you. Not all accounts are approved.
