What do I need before applying for an account?

What's Needed at Signup?

We value privacy and want to keep everyone safe. In order to accept donations using Anedot, we must verify your identity. We collect the following information in order to verify your identity:

  • Entity Legal Name
  • Entity Type
  • Valid tax ID number (invalid numbers are not acceptable)
  • Legal address
  • Physical address
  • Legal contact (Treasurer or another individual to serve as a principal on an account)
  • Email
  • Phone number
  • Bank account information (to transfer funds)
  • Additional documentation requested based on the account type

No credit card is needed to sign up with Anedot. However, a bank account is required to receive funds.

NOTE Before you have full access to the platform, you will need to speak with one of our Verification Team members (225-250-1301) in order for your organization to be verified and activated.
