An upsell is asking someone to do something after their initial action. There are several different types of upsells you can use to encourage a donor to give more money.
After analyzing platform-wide data on Anedot we have discovered some amazing results. When campaigns use upsells on Anedot, they are converting at a 15% rate on average.
That means that around 1 in 6 people presented with an upsell on Anedot say yes.
Here's how to create an upsell:
This article will show you how to set up Upsells for Campaigns. Once you click "Campaigns" in the navigation bar, you will click “Upsells” on the left-hand panel.
Once you have done that, you can click on “New Amount Upsell” or “New Recurring Upsell” in the top right-hand corner.
From there, you can set up the Name, Description, and Header Image of your upsell. You will also be prompted to be able to edit the upsell so it only shows if certain criteria are met.
Once you're done creating your upsell, go back to the Campaigns tab and click "View" on your campaign.
Scroll down to the "Upsells" section, select the Upsell from the dropdown, and click "Add Upsell"
