# Timezone

## This article explains how to update the timezone settings for your Anedot account to ensure accurate timestamps and financial reporting.

Your **Account Timezone** determines the timestamps for all activity within your Anedot account, including transactions, reports, and scheduled actions. Ensuring your timezone is accurate helps maintain reliable financial and donor reporting.

### How to Update Your Timezone

To adjust your account’s timezone:

1. Go to **Settings \> Setup \> Timezone**
2. Select your organization’s correct timezone from the dropdown list
3. Click **Save** before exiting the page
