Looking to resume a paused donation? Learn how to reactivate your recurring commitment through your Anedot DonorID account and make updates as needed.

How to Reactivate a Recurring Commitment

If your recurring donation has been paused or canceled, you can easily reactivate it through your DonorID account by following these steps:


Step 1: Log in to Your DonorID

Log in here using the same email associated with your original commitment.

Trouble logging in?

  • You may be entering an incorrect password

  • You could be locked out due to too many attempts

  • You might not have a DonorID set up yet (Sign up here)

Step 2: Access the Commitments Tab

Once logged in, click the Commitments tab on the left side of your dashboard.

Can’t see your donation history?
You must confirm your email before records are displayed.
Look for a confirmation email in your inbox or contact our Support team if you're unable to find it.


Step 3: Resume Your Commitment

  1. Locate the commitment you wish to reactivate

  2. Click the Actions button next to it

  3. Select Resume

Your commitment will now show an Active status.

Need to make changes after reactivating? Just click Actions > Edit to adjust the amount, schedule, or payment method. Check out the Update Commitment article for further isntructions.
