QR codes can be generated for Action Pages to post them to direct mail and other sources
QR Codes are a great way to share a website link to a direct mail piece, to place on a business card, or even insert into a television advertisement.
They're simple to use for supporters. A supporter can open the camera app on their smartphone, scan the camera over the code, and then it will give them a link to open on their browser. If you want to learn more about how QR codes are used, you can check out our blog post here.
Our Action Pages product has a QR code generator built right in to easily create an individual QR code for your page. Here's how to use it:
- Click "Action Pages" in the navigation bar
- Click on the page you want the QR code for
- Click "Share"
- Copy the image of the QR code or click "Download QR Code"
PRO-TIP: You can use Google Analytics or Tag Manager to track analytics like clicks on the QR code using UTM's included in the URL. By default, the Campaign Source is "anedot", the Campaign Medium is "qr_code", and the Campaign Name is the page slug.
