Notifications
This article provides step-by-step instructions for managing email notification preferences for your Anedot account.
Manage Notifications
Notification settings are user-specific and can only be managed by the account holder.
Update Notification Settings

Open the profile dropdown in the upper right corner.

Select Notification Settings.

In the Email Notification Settings section, open the dropdown menu.

Choose either Adjust/Overwrite All Accounts or select a specific account.

Customize the desired notification preferences.

Click Save.
Notification Options and Descriptions
| Notification | Description |
|---|---|
| New donation received | Alerts you when a donation is successfully processed. |
| Minimum in dollars | Only receive alerts for donations above a set amount. Example: Set to $250 to be notified only for gifts over $250. |
| Donation receipt copy (BCC) | Sends you a copy of each donor’s receipt (off by default). May result in duplicate emails. |
| Refund, Void, Reversal, or Chargeback | Notifies you if a donation is refunded, voided, reversed (ACH), or charged back. |
| Chargeback reversal | Alerts you when a chargeback is successfully reversed. |
| Expiring soon | Notifies you when a donor’s payment method is about to expire. (Donors are also notified.) |
| Failed to process | Alerts you when a recurring gift fails. (Donors are also notified and can update payment info.) |
| Cancelled | Informs you when a recurring gift is canceled or deactivated. (Donors can also reactivate.) |
| Integration or Webhook Failed | Notifies you of failed webhook or integration attempts. (Off by default; includes error details.) |
| Transfer received | Notifies Admins and Super Admins when a payout is issued. Not available for Custom Permission Sets. |
Not Receiving Notifications?
If you're missing notifications or messages from Anedot:

Check your spam or junk folder.

Add info@anedot.com, app@anedot.com, and help@anedot.com to your contacts.

Whitelist Anedot’s domain by creating a Gmail filter.
How to Whitelist in Gmail:

Open Settings (gear icon), then go to Filters.

Click Create a new filter.

In the From field, enter @anedot.com.

Click Create filter with this search.

Check Never send it to spam, then click Create filter.
