Anedot protects your financial data​

• All forms use TLS encryption to transmit your information.
• Your financial data is used to process transactions and is not shared with additional third parties.
• All transactions are processed adhering to Payment Card Industry (PCI) Level 1 compliance.
• If you opt to save your payment data for future transactions, your data is stored in a PCI Level 1 compliant facility.

Secure Login

Anedot uses a passwordless login system to help keep your Donor Account secure and simple to use. Instead of creating and remembering a password, you sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address.

To log in, enter the email address you use for donations, then check your inbox for a verification code. Enter that code on the login screen to complete sign-in. Because no password is stored for your Donor Account, this reduces the risk of your credentials being stolen or reused on other sites.

Passkeys

For even faster and more secure sign-in, you can set up a passkey from the Security tab in your Donor Account. A passkey is a modern, passwordless sign-in method that uses your device’s built-in security—such as Face ID, Touch ID, a fingerprint reader, or a hardware security key—to prove it’s really you.

When you add a passkey, your device stores a unique cryptographic key that is only used for your Anedot account. The next time you sign in, you can authenticate with your device (for example, by scanning your fingerprint) instead of entering an email code, providing a faster and phishing-resistant way to access your Donor Account.
