# Goals

## Learn how the Goal Tracker on your Donation Page displays progress toward your fundraising goal, including real-time updates, rounding rules, and optional external donations.

### Using the Goal Tracker on Your Donation Page

When you set an **Initial Goal amount** for an Action Page, a **Goal Tracker** will automatically appear at the top of the public Donation Page.

The Goal Tracker:

- **Updates in real-time** to include **Completed donations** only.
- **Excludes donor-covered fees** from the total raised if the *Donor Covers Fees* feature is enabled.
- **Rounds amounts and percentages** to the nearest whole number for display.

***Example:***  
*If $141,540.85 in completed donations equals 12.87% of the goal, the tracker will show **13%** and a rounded goal amount of **143k**.*

### Add Goals

To add a Goal to your **Donation Page**: 

1. Access **Settings \> Sharing \> Page Specific Values** tab within the Donation Page Builder. 
2. Enter a value in the Initial Goal field. 
3. Optionally, enter a value under External Amounts to include donations received offline.
4. Click Publish. 

Once the goal is reached, you can return to the Builder to **increase** the goal or **remove** it from the page.
