Learn how the Goal Tracker on your Donation Page displays progress toward your fundraising goal, including real-time updates, rounding rules, and optional external donations.

Using the Goal Tracker on Your Donation Page

Goals

When you set an Initial Goal amount for an Action Page, a Goal Tracker will automatically appear at the top of the public Donation Page.

The Goal Tracker:

  • Updates in real-time to include Completed donations only.

  • Excludes donor-covered fees from the total raised if the Donor Covers Fees feature is enabled.

  • Rounds amounts and percentages to the nearest whole number for display.

Example:
If $141,540.85 in completed donations equals 12.87% of the goal, the tracker will show 13% and a rounded goal amount of 143k.


Add Goals

To add a Goal to your Donation Page

  1. Access Settings > Sharing > Page Specific Values tab within the Donation Page Builder. 
  2. Enter a value in the Initial Goal field. 
  3. Optionally, enter a value under External Amounts to include donations received offline.
  4. Click Publish. 

Once the goal is reached, you can return to the Builder to increase the goal or remove it from the page.
